Eliška Vavříková

Eliška Vavříková (born 1976) graduated acting at Prague DAMU. Beginning from the season 2002/2003 she was an actress at the Municipal Theatre in Karlovy Vary. In 2008, she became assistant professor at the Institute of Scenic Arts at Prof. Jaroslav Vostrý. She has been a member of Farm in the Cave since the very beginning, having performed a number of crucial roles in the company’s productions. The characters she enacts are embodiments of introversion and female gentleness, yet Eliška’s expression largely contributes to the physical and vocal dynamics that epitomize Viliam Dočolomanský’s directing style.
