Description
When love becomes pity, the only way for it to survive is death. Inside a tank filled with water, with their bodies fully submerged, a woman and a man are living their daily lives. The performance, with its confined, abstract atmosphere, gives the audience the opportunity to observe the complex relationship between the couple outside the established social standards and to discover a sort of ritual primitivism.
The Muzzle of Silence is an experimental play inspired by definitions of experimental theatre. It relies on body language, atmosphere and on redefining ritual in today’s world.
