Exhibition of photography
Apocalypsis cum figuris
Photographs
Maurizio Buscarino
In 1979 in Milan, Maurizio Buscarino, a remarkable Italian artist, photographed the rehearsals and performances of Apocalypsis cum figuris by the Laboratory Theatre, as well as the filming of this performance. Until now only some of his pictures were published. At the request of the Grotowski Institute, the author edited the unpublished photographs and chose some of them to be included in an exhibition in the historical space of the Laboratory Theatre, where Apocalypsis was created in 1968. The exhibition, which includes 47 pictures, opened the Grotowski Year in 2009.
