Erdmut Wizisla

Erdmut Wizisla, PhD, is Director of the Bertolt Brecht Archive and the Walter Benjamin Archive (both within the Akademie der Künste, Berlin). He has authored or edited books about Brecht, Weigel, Benjamin and Uwe Johnson, and he is also the author of many essays on contemporary German literary history. He has curated exhibitions on Benjamin, Brecht and others. Wizisla is Honorary Professor at Humboldt University, Berlin, and a member of PEN.
