Jae Kyoung Kim completed her Ph.D. in theatre at the University of Georgia in 2012. She is a teaching professor at Chung-ang University, Seoul. She also taught classes at the Korea University and at the Catholic University of Korea. Her research is primarily focused on international theatre festivals, intercultural theatre, East-Asian theatre, and the Korean government’s cultural policy. She has published performance reviews and articles in: Theatre Journal, Asian Theatre Journal, etc. Her book International Theatre Olympics: The Artistic and Intercultural Power of Olympism and her translation into Korean of The Return of Dionysus: The Method of Theodoros Terzopoulos (by Terzopoulos) have been recently published.
