The dance company VerTeDance was founded in 2004 by a trio comprising dancers and choreographers Veronika Knytlová and Tereza Ondrová and light designer Pavel Kotlík. In the ten years of their existence, VerTeDance have created almost twenty projects, teeming up with numerous outstanding figures of the Czech and international dance scene. The company has garnered a number of important honours, including Dancer of the Year (2010), the Best Light Design Award (2012, 2014) and the Divadelní Noviny Prize (2012, 2014). VerTeDance are the only Czech company to ever win the most prestigious Czech award in the field, the Dance Piece of the Year, three times: for Silent Talk (2005), for What Is the Weight of Your Desire (2012) and for Correction (2014).
In 2015, Correction received the Audience Award at BE Festival in Birmingham and the prestigious Herald Angel Award 2015 at the Edinburgh Fringe.
